The program has been carrying out agricultural training for youths and farmers since 1987, and presently has six schools in the different agro-ecological zones of Nigeria. The schools situated in the FCT, Osun, Kano, Kaduna, and Gombe states are co-funded by Leventis Foundation, and the individual State Governments.
University of London – About
The University of London is a federal public academic institution located in London, England, United Kingdom. UCL – University College London was established under the name “London University” (but without acknowledgment by the state) in 1826 as a secular alternative to the University of Oxford and Cambridge, which limited their programs to members of the established Church of England. Because of this controversy surrounding UCL’s institution, King’s College London was established as an Anglican college by royal charter in the year 1829.
The institution owns a substantial central London estate of twelve hectares freehold land in Bloomsbury, close to Russell Square tube station. Some of the university’s colleges have their major buildings on the estate. The Bloomsbury Campus also has eight Halls of Residence and Senate House, which houses Senate House Library, the chancellor’s official residence and previously housed the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, now part of UCL and housed in its own new building.
